Furniture Care Tips

To protect your furniture, RareRepair recommends the following procedures:

Clean and polish your finished pieces regularly (a service we can provide)

The finish on your furniture breaks down when oils from our hands, dirt, dust and moisture are left on it for a period of time.

Clean up spills immediately, especially alcohol.

Dust with a clean, damp, lint free cloth.

Do not place furniture or artwork directly in sunlight or in rapid and extreme temperature/humidity changing areas.

This will cause changes in color, patina, finish, and structure.

Be careful when placing hot objects on counter tops.

Use a pad to protect damage from those pizza boxes!
